After the great success of FOCUS09, FOCUS is setting out to launch its second edition!

FOCUS10is designed to present and connect the vibrant African art scene to the world.

Conceived as a cutting-edge complement to Art Basel (June 16-20, 2010), the fair showcases galleries representing African artists and welcomes publishers, institutions and other cultural actors involved in the creative African network.

FOCUS10is aiming to create a show with a sharp curatorial vision. In this respect, galleries featuring artists from Africa and its Diaspora are encouraged to apply for the show with a specific project. In a global context where African galleries remain largely marginalized from mainstream art fairs, FOCUS10will provide African artists, galleries and art professionals a unique platform during the world’s most important art fair.
